Major research shows that COVID-19 shrinks our brains even after mild or asymptomatic infection. Yet still, the UK government pretends we have nothing to worry about. – Today’s political cartoon by Kim Wareham.


An Oxford University study published in the journal Nature has found that COVID-19 can cause the brain to shrink between 0.2% and 2%, reduce grey matter in the regions controlling emotions and memory, and damage the areas that control the sense of smell.
