The book, as yet untitled and without a publication date, is said to be unlike any other prime ministerial memoir. Arabella Pike, publishing director at *William Collins*, an imprint of *HarperCollins UK*, expressed her enthusiasm for the project.

*“I am thrilled to be working with Boris Johnson as he pens his account of his time in office,”* said Pike. *“This is a period of history that will undoubtedly be remembered for years to come, and I am confident that his memoir will provide an invaluable insight into the events of the past few years.”*

The exact financial details of the deal have not been disclosed, though industry experts have suggested that Johnson may have received a high six-figure or even seven-figure sum. No matter the amount, it is clear that *HarperCollins* is confident that the memoir will be a success.
