French President Emmanuel Macron spoke to Les Echos and Politico reporters, reiterating his vision of strategic autonomy for Europe, a goal of avoiding military and economic dependencies on other nations.
Following his trip to China, where he spent approximately six hours with President Xi Jinping, he called for Europe to be a third power, alongside the United States and China, in the global order.
