Donald Trump held a “very good” call with Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky following a conversation with Vladimir Putin. The former US president claims to be aligning Russia and Ukraine’s “requests and needs” in a bid for peace.

Zelensky called the discussion “positive” and hinted at US ownership of the Russian-controlled Zaporizhzhia power plant. A partial ceasefire, halting strikes on energy infrastructure, is reportedly under discussion—but Ukraine vows retaliation if Russia breaches terms.
