On 1 June 2025, Ukraine executed its ‘Operation Spiderweb’, a meticulously planned drone strike targeting Russian airbases deep within Russian territory.

Using **117** drones launched from concealed positions, the operation destroyed over **40** strategic bombers, including Tu-95s, Tu-22M3s, and A-50s, resulting in an estimated **$7 billion** in damages. This represents a humiliation for Russia and Vladimir Putin.

President Zelensky hailed the attack as a brilliant success, highlighting Ukraine’s growing technological prowess and strategic ingenuity.
