F ive million people in the UK are now eligible for a spring COVID-19 booster after hundreds of thousands of vaccination appointments became available to book through the NHS.
The first vaccinations will take place from Monday across 3,000 sites in England. To be eligible, one must be aged 75 and over, aged five or over with a weakened immune system, or be part of the care home programme of vaccinations.
