Political earthquake: Reform UK leads Westminster voting intentions

Radical right Reform UK surges ahead in Westminster voting intentions, overtaking Labour and the Conservatives for the first time. With momentum building before May’s local elections, its rise threatens the traditional two-party dominance and reshapes the political landscape.

R eform UK has surged ahead in Westminster voting intentions, polling at 25%, while Labour follows closely at 24% and the Conservatives at 21%, according to the latest YouGov MRP model conducted between 2-3 February 2025. This poll indicates a changing political landscape just months before the local elections on 1 May.
